Here, I share my poetry, essays, and short fiction.
My first book Mamí, is a daughter’s reflection on migration, family, identity, and the inheritance we carry long after childhood. Through memory, it explores the difficult work of understanding those who shaped us while learning to become ourselves. Written with honesty and restraint, it is a story of resilience, forgiveness, and learning to carry the past without being defined by it.
Currently, I am at work on a literary novel.
Born in Honduras, I now live in Fort Lauderdale with my longtime partner.
