How will you change the world?

Curiosity is my cup of tea,

your secret is safe with me.

This new world,

will it be better for the masses,

void of all classes?

Who will you allow to be free,

those like you, maybe even me?

Must you break every norm,

dismantle all societies, reform the reformed?

Please get it right,

I’d help but this isn’t my fight.

Or is it that I’m a coward?

Help me, help me to feel empowered.

I want to feel your enthusiasm.

Silence my criticism, squash my cynicism.

Can humanity ever get it right?

End universal human plight

egotism, racism, consumerism.

But before you change the world,

help me to understand.

Step one, let’s take a walk, hold my hand.
