She fell flat on her face. Again.


Not gracefully. She tripped over her own feet, as usual.

Not heroically. She treated each caution sign as a dare.


Facing the concrete, the young girl moaned:

“Didn’t see that coming.”


The elderly woman with the same face pulled herself up and smiled.

“Welcome to your life. It’s mostly stumbles. And some, honestly, are spectacular.”
