How I wanted to unpuzzle,

piece by piece, the mystery that is you.


I flipped the pieces and separated the edges,

but I worked no section, nor did I build the border.


It rattled me, day by day.

I collected clues, then formulated theories,

tested not one.


To unravel you was to unravel me.


A mystery entered my life.

Quietly, my curiosity dissolved,

and I let it go without regret.
