She waits for the tide to rise, for the tide to fall. 


For when the tide is high,

she feels it all, happiness, sadness,

she can fly, she is also ready to die.


For when the tide is low,

all that’s left is a faint glow.

She inhales, she releases, 

she learns to let go.
