Laughing and singing through clenched teeth,

she mastered that as a child.


Slowly, she unlearns.


Trembling, she starts,   

carefully opens her mouth.


Laughing without fear of criticism,

she sings without the weight of breaking down.


Fearlessly, she takes the world into her mouth.
